From idea to a working web product

You describe what you want in plain English and an AI agent writes the code. You review its changes, catch what breaks, and publish the result. By the end you have a working product at your own public web address.

Open the starter

Do this part on your laptop.

Follow the slides on your phone

You will answer a few questions there.

  1. 1
    Sign in to GitHub

No account? Create one now, then verify your email (check your inbox on this laptop). You cannot build until your email is verified.

  2. 2
    Copy the starter

Scan the code or open the link, then click "Create a new repository" from the template. Make it public.

  3. 3
    Open your Codespace

On your new repo: the green "Code" button, then "Create codespace on main". VS Code opens in your browser with the AI agent ready.

  4. 4
    Build, then publish

Tell the agent what to build. When you are ready, turn on Pages (Settings, then Pages, then Source: GitHub Actions) and push. Your site goes live.

While it boots, think of one small need

One annoyance in your day, or the day of the person next to you. You will build a tiny product that fixes it. Finish this sentence: "I want to build ___ for ___ so they can ___."
